About me

In my work I explore landscapes and imaginary worlds. There are worlds of myths and storytelling, order and chaos, darkness and light. My eye is directed inwards and I articulate a contemporary experience based on memories and emotions I have been carrying with me. So when I paint, I paint in an abstract way as this gives me the freedom to connect with my intuition. I currently work on a series where I am researching “moods”, where movement, point of view and layers of paint play a vital role.

I use ink, acrylic paints and spray paint.

I was born in Athens and I live and work in Amsterdam. I studied at the Rietveld Academy of Arts, the Wackers Academy of Arts and I hold a Master of Arts from the University of Amsterdam.
